Output delay canbe assigned to any direct output—thisis taken from the same pool of delayresources as bus output delay.Direct Outputs at different sampleratesFrom version 8.0 the desk can beconfigured to operate at different samplerates such as 48kHz & 96kHz.At the higher sample rate the pool sizefor Direct Outputs is halved, meaning thatthe pool of 512 legs at 48kHz for Apollobecomes 256 legs at 96kHz.Assign Direct Outputs from theSurfaceTo assign a direct output to a path usingthe surface controls:1. Push the ASSIGN button for the pathto which you want to assign the directoutput.2. Place any panel into SEND-ROUTEmode from the Modes row. The fourcentre-right control cells will read:‘Push to add Direct Output’, see Fig 1.Push one of these cell’s rotary controlsand the Direct Output pop-up appearson the TFT above, as shown in Fig 2.3. Select Mono or Stereo to enable aDirect Output and select either a feedposition (pre-eq, pre-fader or postfader) or choose to have the Mix Minusbus feed the Direct Output.Assign Direct Outputs from the PCTo assign direct output resources to pathsusing the console PC:1. Select >I/O>I/O Patch from the menubar in the main application.2.
