Handling sheetsHandling sheetsSelecting the Paper SourceWhen advancing paper, press the Feeder Selection button and select the source.You can determine the selected source by checking which lamp is lit-either the Roll Media lamp (a) or theCut Sheet lamp (b).• Roll Media lamp : Selected when printing on Roll Media.• Cut Sheet lamp : Selected when printing on Sheets from the Top Paper Feed Slot or Front PaperFeed Slot.Note• If any paper is loaded that will not be used, a message is shown on the Display Screen (either Removeroll? or Eject sheet? ) when you press the Feeder Selection button.To remove the paper, press the OK button. (→P.145)• You cannot switch the paper source in the following situations:• When the Message lamp is ashingCheck the message on the Display Screen and take action as necessary.
