If any of these items are missing or dam-aged, please contact your dealer.PHONE INSTALLATIONConnecting the Phone BodyRemove the base of the phone bypressing the [Push] mark on the topof the base.Note: The base can be used to adjustthe phone angle in the high or lowposition.1 Connect a handset to the handset port on the back of the phone.2 Disconnect the Ethernet cable from the computer, and attach it to the PCport on the back of your IP phone.3 Connect the Ethernet port in your workspace to the LAN port on the back ofyour phone, using the provided LAN (UTP) cable.Your IP phone now shares anetwork connection with your computer.4 Connect a standard power outlet in your workspace to the power port usingthe AC power adapter. The phone will subsequently boot. If your systemadministrator delivered your phone without a power supply, your phoneprobably receives power through the Ethernet connection.5 To use a headset, connect the headset to the headset port on the back ofyour phone.OPTIONAL EQUIPMENTSMT-i5264 [ADD-ON MODULE]The SMT-i5264 IP AOM can be registered and programmedto function with any ITP 5100 keysets, SMT-i Series, and TDMphones. This add-on module was cosmetically designed tomatch the SMT-i5000 Series phones. In some applicationsmultiple IP AOMs can be supported per IP phone.
