70Step 1Press the [SUB MENU] button.→ The "Sub Menu" window will be displayed.Step 2Move the cursor onto the [Camera control] button ofthe "Sub Menu", and then press the [SET] button.→ The menu list will be displayed. Move the cursoronto "Camera menu" on the displayed menu list,and then press the [SET] button.→ The "Camera menu" menu will be displayed andthe camera setup menu will be displayed on themonitor.Note:• The status bar will be hidden while the cameramenu panel is being displayed.Operate the setup menu of the cameraTo control the camera connected to the recorder, it is necessary in advance to configure the settings of thecamera function. The settings of the camera function can be configured on the setup menu of the camera.It is possible to call the setup menu of the camera from the "Sub Menu". The contents of the setup menu andthe operation procedures vary depending on the model of the camera. Refer to the operating instructions of thecamera for further information.The following are descriptions of how to display the setup menu of the camera and of how to perform the basicoperation.Step 3Operate the setup menu of the camera using the"Camera menu" panel.To operate the setup menu of the camera, use the fol-lowing buttons.Move the cursor Arrows button (CDA B)Change parameters Arrows button (A B)Apply the set value ormove to the lower levelmenu[SET] buttonMove to the higher levelmenu[SETUP/ESC] buttonDisplay the specialmenuMove the cursor onto"SPECIAL" on the setupmenu of the camera, andthen press the cameraselection button [2].Reset the camera Move the cursor onto"CAMERA RESET" on thesetup menu of the camera,and then press the cameraselection button [3].Step 4To close the setup menu of the camera, press thecamera selection button [4].Note:• When the camera has the refresh function(REFRESH), it is possible to execute the refreshfunction by selecting the [2] button on the"Camera menu" panel.• The "Camera menu" panel may sometimes remaindisplayed after the setup menu of the camera isclosed such as when resetting the camera, etc. Inthis case, select the [4] button on the cameramenu panel.• Only users whose user level is allowed to controlcameras or to configure the settings can configurethe settings of the camera.
