-19- Series Recording SetupThis item lets you designate the master and the slaverecorder when more than one Disc Recorder is used forseries recording.1. Move the cursor to the SERIES REC parameter inthe SYSTEM menu by pressing the or but-ton.2. Select either MASTER or SLAVE by pressing theor button.MASTER: Designates a master recorder.SLAVE 1-15: Designates a slave recorder.Set the SLAVE 1 parameter for the sec-ond recorder. In Alternate Time LapseRecording, you can record in sequenceon up to 16 connected recorders. Whenthree or more recorders are connected,set SLAVE 2 for the the third recorder,SLAVE 3 for the fourth, and so on up toSLAVE 15. The SLAVE 2 - 15 recordersare activated in numerical sequence.The default setting is MASTER. Series Recording Output SetupThis item lets you set the signal type for the SERIESREC OUT terminal on the Terminal Board located on therear of the Disc Recorder.1. Move the cursor to the SERIES REC OUT parameterin the SYSTEM menu by pressing the orbutton.2. Select either OPEN or CLOSE by pressing theor button.OPEN: Supplies the series recording output sig-nal when the Disc Recorder is not inrecording mode.Select this parameter for Alternate AlarmRecording (page 37).CLOSE: Supplies the series recording output sig-nal when the Disc Recorder is in record-ing mode.Select this parameter for Alternate TimeLapse Recording (page 37).The default setting is CLOSE. Disc LED Function SetupThis item lets you specify the conditions for output of thesignal from the DISC LED MONITOR terminal on theTerminal Board located on the rear of the DiscRecorder. See page 10.1. Move the cursor to the DISC LED FUNCTION para-meter in the SYSTEM menu by pressing the orbutton.2. Select either SPACE or FULL by pressing the orbutton.SPACE: Signal is output when disc space isrunning low (interlocks the signal withthe DISC indicator on the DiscRecorder’s front panel). See page 3.FULL: Signal is output when the disc is full.The default setting is FULL. Buzzer SetupThis item lets you enable or disable the buzzer soundaccompanying operation of the Disc Recorder’s but-tons.1. Select either ON or OFF by pressing the orbutton.ON: Enables buzzer.OFF: Disables buzzer.The default setting is ON. Recording Mode MenuThis menu lets you set the recording mode forrecording on the DVD-RAM disk. Select MODE 1 orMODE 2 and set up the items as shown below.MODE 1: This is the normal recording mode.
