1.8.4.3 Off-hook Call Announcement (OHCA)DescriptionAn extension user can talk with a busy extension through the built-in speaker and microphone of the calledparty’s PT. If the existing call is using a handset, a second conversation is made using the speakerphone andmicrophone so that the called extension can talk to both parties.Conditions• COS programming determines which extensions can use this feature.• This feature is available when the called extension uses one of the following telephones:– KX-T7625, KX-T7630, KX-T7633, KX-T7636, KX-DT333, KX-DT343, KX-DT346• The OHCA feature cannot be used in the following cases:a. COS or called extension’s telephone type is not available for this feature.b. The called extension (DPT) is connected to a PC (PC Console or PC Phone) via the USB Module.c. The called extension (DPT) is in the Digital XDP connection.The Call Waiting tone is sent to the called extension.
