As soon as you see a startup screen, press F2.The BIOS Setup utility opens.2 Open the Security menu.3 Highlight Set Supervisor Password, then press E NTER and follow theinstructions. You must set the supervisor password in order to setthe user (startup) password.4 Highlight Set User Password, then press ENTER and follow theinstructions. This is the password you need to enter at startup.5 Highlight Password on boot and press E NTER.6 Highlight Enabled, then press E NTER.7 Open the Exit menu, highlight Exit Saving Changes, then press ENTER.When you start your computer, you are prompted to enter the userpassword you set in Step 4.Power■ Take your AC power adapter to recharge the battery.
