In such case, thecamcorder will focus after you finish turning the ring.• If you set an assignable button to [ Digital Tele-conv.] (A 97), you can press the button to activate thedigital tele-converter. Alternatively, if you customize the FUNC. menu to include [ Digital Tele-conv.] (A 96),you can activate the digital tele-converter from the FUNC. menu. The digital tele-converter allows you todigitally increase the focal length of the camcorder by a factor of approx. 2. Note that the image is digitallyprocessed so the image will deteriorate throughout the zoom range.Operating modes:
