Refer to the following table for a brief summary of the Wi-Fi functions.Wi-Fi functions and connection types1 Connection to a Wi-Fi network via an external access point (wireless router, etc.)2 Direct connection to one Wi-Fi-enabled device, such as a smartphone, where the camcorder serves as the Wi-Fi access point.Before using the Wi-Fi functions• The instructions in this chapter assume you already have a correctly configured and working network, networkdevice(s) and/or Wi-Fi access point. If necessary, refer to the documentation provided with the networkdevices you want to use.• Configuring the network settings requires adequate knowledge about configuring and using wireless (Wi-Fi)networks.
