This phenomenon is calledcondensation, and condensation in a copier can lead to faultyimages. If the copier has been moved from a cold to warm place, leave it alone for about one hour or morebefore unpacking it.A. Unpacking and Removing FixingsStep12345WorkUnpack the copier.Detach the plastic cover, and placethe copier on the pedestal holdingits grips; be sure to work in a groupof two.Install the Cassette FeedingModule-B2, -A2, etc. (accessory)according to its Installation Proce-dure if the copier is to be placedon it.Open the cardboard box, and takeout all the accessories.Remove all tape from the outsideof the copier. Take out the cas-sette from the cardboard box, andremove the cushions from insidethe cassette; then, slide thecassette into the copier.Remove the tape from the scannerfixing found on the outside of theleft cover, remove the screw, andslide the fixing to the right todetach it to the front.• Keep the fixing stored forpossible relocation of themachine.RemarksNote:If the A or INCH/AB configuration machine thecopyboard cover is attached.Check that none of the following accessories is missing:• Copy tray • Toner• Cassette (Universal) × 2 • Drum unit• Operator’s ManualMake sure that the paper size plate and size label (1 pc.each) are inside the cassette.ScrewScanner fixing
