Adjusting the Focus76PeakingThe camcorder offers two peaking levels.1 Press the PEAKING button.• The peaking icon (J or K) appears on the left of thescreen and the outlines in the image will be emphasized,depending on the focus.• Press the button again to turn off peaking.2 To select the peaking level, select [Peaking].> [A " Assistance Functions] > [Peaking]3 Select the desired level and then press SET.Magnification1 Press the MAGN. button.• ^ appears on the left of the screen and the center ofthe screen* is magnified 2 or 4 times.• The orange frame displayed at the top right of the screen(magnification frame) shows the approximate part of theimage shown magnified.• Press SET to switch back and forth between 2x and 4xmagnification.2 If necessary, use the joystick to move around themagnification frame and check other parts of the image.• You can also drag your finger across the screen to movethe frame.• Press the CANCEL button to return the magnificationframe to the center position.• Press the MAGN. button again to cancel the magnification.* If one of the AF frames or a face detection frame is displayed on the screen, the area around the active frame will be magnifiedinstead.NOTESNOTES• About Peaking/Magnification:- You can use the > [A " Assistance Functions] > [Peaking 1] and [Peaking 2] settings to set thecolor, gain and frequency of the two peaking levels independently of each other.- You can use the > [A " Assistance Functions] > [Peaking: LCD], [Peaking: VF], [Peaking: SDI]and [Peaking: HDMI] settings to turn the peaking function on and off separately on the LCD screen,viewfinder and external monitors connected to the respective terminals.Similarly, you can use the > [A ! Assistance Functions] > [Magn.: VF+LCD] and [Magn.: SDI/HDMI] settings to turn the magnification function on and off on both the LCD screen and viewfinder and onall external monitors, respectively.- You can also use the > [A " Assistance Functions] > [B&W during Peaking] or >[A ! Assistance Functions] > [B&W during Magn.] setting to switch the camcorder's image to black &white while using the respective assistance function.- The assistance functions will not affect your recordings.
