UBI Stand-Alone Concept8n Editing Labels See page 69A label is a combination of a layout and variable input data. Evenif there are no input fields in a layout, you must still link it to alabel before it can be printed, but usually a layout contains somefields which require input of variable information. After a labelhas been provided with input data, you can save it for later use.n Printing Labels See page 74Single labels can be printed during the label editing process, butif you want more than one copy or a batch of several labels, youshould use the label printing facility.q Listing Labels See page 77After having edited a number of labels, a list of all labels storedin the printer's memory helps you to keep record.q Deleting Labels See page 78Obsolete labels can be removed in order to save valuablememory space.q Data Transfer See page 80When you have edited a number of layouts and labels, it isrecommended to make a backup to avoid the risk of losing allyour work.
