Switch on all projectors in the system for at least 30 minutes prior to starting this procedure to ensure they are at nominal operatingtemperature2. Align input balance in case of analog source signals3. Perform Gray Level Correction (GLC) if required4. Set Gamma at projector side (2.2) and/or IG side to the desired level5. Turn off all lights and avoid all stray light: the system surroundings must be fully dark6. Match the Light output (CLO)7. Perform Dynacolor alignment8. Perform Black Color Matching if requiredSuitable test patternsSeveral test patterns can be used for the GLD alignment:• internal gray level, which can be set to be automatically generated during the alignment procedure (advised!)• external gray scale pattern• full gray pattern generated by a test image generator (e.g. Polaris)The gray level that needs to be used to correct the selected gray range during the different alignment stepsdepends on the gamma you set for the projector in use (See Appendix B).R59770330 SIM 7QP SERIES 08/12/2014 147
