Each partition provides 20 Gigabytes ofdisk space.This chapter describes how to update your system software, and how to utilizethese partitions.Using MultipleVersions ofSoftware(SafeUpgrade)Using two partitions, your system allows you to upgrade your system softwarewhile maintaining a previous version of your configuration. The followingsections describe how to accomplish this.Upgradingfrom Version2.0To upgrade your system from Version 2.0 to a newer release, while savingyour current configuration, complete the following:1. Connect to Console port as described in the previous section.2. Partition your disk for dual boot. Note that this only has to beaccomplished once.
