1.1.5 Automatic Extension ReleaseDescriptionAfter going off-hook, if an extension user fails to dial any digits within a preprogrammed time period, the userwill hear a reorder tone. This operation applies to intercom calls only.This feature is also known as Automatic Station Release.Conditions• A proprietary telephone (PT)/portable station (PS) user hears a reorder tone for a preprogrammed timeperiod, and then the PT/PS returns to idle status automatically. A single line telephone (SLT) user will heara reorder tone until he or she goes on-hook.• This feature works in one of the following cases:When making an intercom calla. The first digit is not dialed within a preprogrammed time period.b. Daylight Saving Time SettingThe start and end dates of Daylight Saving Time can be programmed. The PBX clock will automaticallyadjust itself one hour forward or backward at 2:00 A.M. on the programmed date, if enabled through systemprogramming. At 2:00 A.M. on the start date, the clock will change to 3:00 A.M., and at 2:00 A.M. on theend date, the clock will change to 1:00 A.M.NoteIf a Timed Reminder (Remote Wake-up call) is set:– On the Daylight Saving Time start date, a reminder set for between 2:00 A.M. and 3:00 A.M. willnot ring.– On the Daylight Saving Time end date, a reminder set for between 1:00 A.M. and 2:00 A.M. willring twice.2.
