33Voice MessagesIntroduction to Recording and Retrieving MessagesThe 6272 Series devices provide the capability of recording voicemessages for others on the premises. The number of messages is notlimited; however, the total time of all messages added together cannotexceed 120 seconds.Note: The voice messages are stored in the memory of the 6272 andall messages will be lost if the 6272 loses power or if it is reset.Voice messages are recorded and retrieved using the “MessageCenter” screen. From the "Home" screen, press the Message button. The "MessageCenter" screen is displayed.2. Press the Record button and record your message while stayingwithin approximately one foot of the TouchCenter and speaking at anormal voice volume. As you are recording your message, theremaining time counter counts down to indicate the total remainingtime available and a “Recording New Memo…” message is displayedabove the message list window.
