III. SCANNING DRIVE SYSTEMA. Driving the Scanner1. OutlineThe scanner drive system is driven by the scanner motor (M2). The scanner motorchanges the direction of its rotation between when the scanner moves forward and whenit moves in reverse; the speed of its rotation varies according to the selectedreproduction ratio.
