This means that the machine does not produce hazardous radiation.Since radiation emitted inside the machine is completely confined within protectivehousings and external covers, the laser beam cannot escape from the machine duringany phase of user operation.CDRH RegulationsThe Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) of the U.S. Food and DrugAdministration implemented regulations for laser products on August 2, 1976. Theseregulations apply to laser products manufactured from August 1, 1976.
