1193 Setting the Image-Recording QualityThe approximate maximum burst isdisplayed on the bottom right in theviewfinder and on the shooting functionsettings screen.If the maximum burst for continuousshooting is 99 or higher, “99” will bedisplayed.Maximum Burst During Continuous ShootingThe maximum burst is displayed even when a card is not inserted in thecamera. Make sure that a card is inserted before taking a picture.If the maximum burst is displayed as “99”, it indicates that you can shoot 99or more shots continuously. If the maximum burst decreases to 98 or lowerand the internal buffer memory becomes full, “buSY” will be displayed in theviewfinder and on the LCD panel. Shooting will then be disabled temporarily.If you stop continuous shooting, the maximum burst will increase. After allthe captured images are written to the card, you can resume continuousshooting and shoot up to the maximum burst listed in the table on page 117.
