Because of the longdistance needed to stop, it ishazardous to drive the vehicle. Youshould have it towed and repaired assoon as possible (seeon page ).If the fluid level is low, take yourvehicle to a dealer, and have thebrake system inspected for leaks orworn brake pads.You will also see a ‘‘CHECK BRAKESYSTEM’’ message on the multi-information display.If the brake system indicator comeson while driving, the brake fluid levelis probably low. You will see a‘‘BRAKE FLUID LOW’’ message onthe multi-information display. Presslightly on the brake pedal to see if itfeels normal. If it does, check thebrake fluid level the next time youstop at a service station (see page).The brake systemindicator normallycomes on whenyou turn the ignition switch to theON (II) position and as a reminder tocheck the parking brake.
