Fordetailed instructions, read steps 1 through 5 in Maintenance overview on page 53.2 Press the levers securing the memory module away from the module, then lift thememory module from the connector.Removing a memory module3 If necessary, rearrange the memory modules so that the first module is in the lowestnumbered memory slot—starting with slot 1 through slot 4. If the memory modulesare of different capacities, place them in order of increasing capacity. Install thememory module with the smallest capacity in slot 1.4 Replace the memory slot cover, if available.5 Reinstall the access panel, reconnect all signal and power cables, then turn on theserver.
