H7 ASD Operation Manual 83Reference Priority SelectionProgram ⇒ Fundamental Parameters ⇒ Standard Mode Selection ⇒Reference Priority SelectionEither Frequency Mode #1 or Frequency Mode #2 may control the outputfrequency of the ASD. This parameter determines which of the two will controlthe output frequency and the conditions in which control will be switched fromone to the other.Settings:Frequency Source #1Frequency Source #2Frequency Source #1 PriorityFrequency Source #2 PriorityFrequency Source Priority SwitchingThe settings of Frequency Source #1 or #2 specifies the input source for thefrequency command signal; these settings are performed in F004 and F207,respectively.If Frequency Source #1 is selected here, the ASD will follow the settings ofF004. If Frequency Source #2 is selected here, the ASD will follow thesettings of F207.The Frequency Source #1 Priority and Frequency Source #2 Priorityselections are used in conjunction with the Mode #1/#2 Switching Frequencysetting (F208). Parameter F208 establishes a threshold frequency that will beused as a reference when determining when to switch output control betweenFrequency Mode #1 and Frequency Mode #2.If Frequency Source #1 Priority is selected here and the commandedfrequency exceeds the F208 setting, Frequency Mode #1 has priority overFrequency Mode #2.If Frequency Source #2 Priority is selected here and the commandedfrequency exceeds the F208 setting, Frequency Mode #2 has priority overFrequency Mode #1.Frequency Source Priority Switching allows for a contact closure at apreconfigured input terminal to toggle control between Frequency Source #1and Frequency Source #2. Any of the programmable input terminals may beprogrammed as the Frequency Source Priority Switching terminal.Direct Access Number — F200Parameter Type — Selection ListFactory Default — Frequency Source #1Changeable During Run — YesF200 F200www .
