TELETEXT Operation301. Select Text Mode and choose a page.2. Push the TIME TEXT button. T**** will be displayed at the top left of thescreen.3. Enter the sub page number before the T**** disappears. The sub-pagenumber must be entered as a four digit number e.g. sub-page 3 wouldbe entered as 0003.4. Push the Display Cancel button to view the TV picture while waiting forthe sub-page to be found.5. When found, the page number will be displayed the at the top left of thescreen. Press the TV/TEXT button twice to display the page.To clear the page perform one of the following:- Select a new page number.- Push the TV/TEXT button to return to normal television viewing.* Note: TIME TEXT is not currently available in Australia.REVEALSome Text pages contain concealed information, e.g. the solution to apuzzle. To reveal this information Push the REVEAL. To hide theinformation, push the REVEAL button again.DISPLAY CANCELIf you wish to watch the television while you are waiting for a page to betransmitted you can use the DISPLAY CANCEL function.COLOURED BUTTONSThese buttons refer to different page numbers in LIST mode and differentsubjects in TOP mode.PAGE NUMBERS UP AND DOWNThese buttons are used to move to higher or lower page numbers.INDEXPressing this button returns you to the main index page.F/T/B (FULL / TOP / BOTTOM)This button is used when difficulty is experienced in reading text on thescreen. Operating the F/T/B expands and displays the upper half of thescreen. Operating the F/T/B button again expands and displays the lowerhalf of the screen. Operating the F/T/B button a third time returns the displayto normal condition.HOLDSome TELETEXT pages contain multi-page information. Use this button tostop the page changing. Push it again to release the hold.LIST STOREIn LIST mode the page numbers stored in the four coloured buttons can bechanged for each teletext channel. Push a coloured button, enter the pagenumber and push the List Store button to store the page. Keep the buttonpressed until the coloured numbers at the bottom of the screen changecolour.LIST/ F TEXTPush the List / F Text button to switch between the List mode and Top ofPage mode.Please refer to drawing on pages 8 and 9 for location of Teletext Control buttons.
