Main Menu – PresetMANUAL TUNE23This Television has been factory tuned to all the major city channels. Use this tuning procedure only if you wish toreset individual Programme Numbers.The television should be switched ON and the TV/AV Switch set to TV.Manual Tuning Using the Front Panel Controls1. Open the front panel door.2. Use the front panel Programme Number Up ( /\ ) or Down ( \/ ) buttons to select the ProgrammeLocation Number you want to tune.3. Push the PRE. button repeatedly until MANUAL TUNE is highlighted.4. Press the Volume Up ( + ) or Volume Down ( - ) button to start the Manual Tune.5. If you do not want to save this broadcast station in this programme location number, repeat step 4.6. When you are satisfied with your selection push the PRE. button repeatedly until you return tonormal viewing.Manual Tuning Using the Remote Control1. Use the front panel or remote control ProgrammeNumber Up ( /\ ) or Down ( \/ ) buttons to select theProgramme Location Number you want to tune.2. Push the MAIN MENU button.3. Move to the PRESET Menu using the Up or Downbutton.4. Choose the PRESET Menu by using the Left orRight buttons.5. Push the Up or Down button to access theMANUAL TUNE option.6. Push the Left or Right button to start the ManualTune.7. If you do not want to save this broadcast station inthis programme location number, repeat step 6.8. Push the MAIN MENU button repeatedly until youreturn to normal viewing.Tuning the Television to a VCR1. Turn the VCR On and either start a known tape playing or set the VCR Test Signal, if it has one, toOn (refer to your VCR operating instructions).2. Use the Manual Tuning procedure above. The television will treat the VCR as if it was a normaltelevision broadcast station.NOTES:1. The antenna lead must be connected to the VCR and the VCR RF-Out must be connected to theTV RF-In. Please refer to page 34.2. The picture and sound quality are usually much better if the VCR is connected using the AVTerminals.
