If the problem persists,contact your supplier.Starting upOperationSymptom RemedyPower does not come on. • Make sure the control panel cable is connectedproperly.Power gets turned offautomatically.• If you have set the PowerOff Time (see page 32)and are running the recorder with the ignitionswitch at LOCK (OFF), turn the ignition switchon (see page 13) and reboot the recorder.• If the operating environment is hotter than therecommended temperature, the Memory CardVideo Recorder may turn off for safety reasons. Ifthis happens, wait for the operating environmentto cool down before using the recorder.Symptom RemedyThe unit does not respondor another problem hasoccurred.• Hold down the front panel [REC] and [STOP]buttons for about 10 seconds to reset theMemory Card Video Recorder. All lamps go offfor one to two seconds after which they all lightfor about one or two seconds to indicate that therecorder is being reset.Recorder was restartedwithout performing a reset.• If a P2 card is removed during data access(the [BUSY] lamp is lit), the P2 card slot maybecome disabled. Wait awhile to allow theMemory Card Video Recorder to reboot beforereinserting the P2 card.• When auto maintenance is set to “ON”, therecorder reboots at the set interval.
