Use a computer to copy theadministrator’s officer data toa USB memory device.For details on creating a text filewith the administrator’s officer data,refer to the Operating Instructions ofthe Memory Card Video Recorder.2. Connect the USB memory device tothe Memory Card Video Recorder.Notes:• To protect the [USB] connector ofthe Memory Card Video Recorder,connect the USB extension cable(included in the cable kit) andconnect the USB memory deviceto the extension cable.• For details on connecting, consultyour supplier.3. Press the [MENU] button.The Menu appears.4. Use the [ , ] buttons to select[Setup/Info] and press [ ] toconfirm the entry.Note:Some USB memory devices maynot be properly recognized.5. Use the [ , ] buttons to select[Admin] and press [ ] toconfirm the entry.The first of the files automaticallysorted (in ascending order) from theUSB memory device is loaded asthe administrator’s officer data.The Memory Card Video Recordersearches to determine whetherofficer data for the administrator hasalready been registered, and in thefollowing cases, the Setup/Admintop screen appears.• When no officer data for theadministrator is registered, suchas immediately after purchase.• When identical officer datais already registered for theadministrator.If officer data is already registered forthe administrator but is not identical,the following screen appears beforethe Menu automatically reappears.Obtain correct data from theadministrator and repeat operationsfrom Step 1 above.Note:Refer to the Operating Instructionsof the Memory Card Video Recorderfor information on the factorydefaults.Administrator Setup
