The Memory Card VideoRecorder, the Color Camera and thisunit [REC] lamps go on during recording.Note:The Color Camera [REC] lamp goeson regardless of camera input setting(for example, “CAMERA2” beingselected with the [CAMERA SELECT]button).The following methods also enablestart of recording. But these methodsrequire administrator setup.• When the GPIO recording triggercriteria is met.• When set speed for own vehicle ortarget vehicle is exceeded.• When the vehicle ignition switch isset to ON and power ON recordinghas been set to “ON”.• When the start time of programmedrecording∗1 is reached.Stopping recordingPress the [STOP] button ( ).Pressing the [STOP] button turns offthe [REC] lamp and video and soundrecordings stop when the post record∗2interval has elapsed. Then the [BUSY]lamp goes off.Recording stops also under thefollowing conditions.• There is no more space left on theP2 card.• When the P2 card slots cover on theMemory Card Video Recorder is open.• When an administrator setup is started.• When the GPIO trigger level criteriais met (requires administrator setup).• When the Rec Continue Time haselapsed (requires administrator setup).• When a defect is detected on a P2 card.• When the stop time of programmedrecording∗1 is reached.Adding bookmarksA bookmark can be added to a filethat is being recorded to mark it forplayback. (see page 26.)Press the [BOOK MARK] button.The bookmark icon [ ] appears for 1or 2 seconds.Notes:• The bookmark icon appears on theOn-Screen Display. When the On-Screen Display is not displayed, itappears on the LCD panel.• Bookmarks can be added with aminimum interval of 2 seconds.• A bookmark cannot be entereduntil about five seconds afterrecording starts.• It is possible to move the playbacklocation to the bookmark duringplayback.• Bookmarks can be added alsoduring playback. (see page 26.)• Bookmarks can be deleted onlyduring playback.
