You do not need to restart yournotebook when changing most cards because your notebook supportshot-swapping. Hot-swapping means that you can insert a PC Card whileyour notebook is running. If your PC Card does not work afterhot-swapping, see the PC Card manufacturer’s documentation for furtherinformation.Important Do not use the remove hardware icon in the taskbarto remove the memory card. If you use the removehardware icon, your notebook may not recognize yourmemory card reader until you restart your notebook.
