Refer to the correspondingexplanation of each setting in thePLAY/OUT SETUP menu option list( 34).- [PLAYBACK STD] to select the output videostandard.- [TV TYPE] to match the output video to theaspect ratio of the connected TV.- [COMP.OUT] to select the videospecifications when using connection type .- [DV OUTPUT] to select the standard of theoutput video when using connection type .Connecting1 Connect the camcorder to the TVfollowing one of the connectiondiagrams shown in the previoussection Connection Diagrams( 57).Playback1 Turn on the camcorder and theconnected TV or VCR.On a TV: Set the input selector toVIDEO. On a VCR: Set the inputselector to LINE (IN).2 Start the playback of the movies( 27) or still images ( 29).NOTES Turn off all the devices before starting theconnections. We recommend powering the camcorderusing the compact power adapter.
