24Using your RangeOvensSome of the oven lining panels can be removedfor cleaning and for cleaning behind. They canalso be put into a dishwasher. Remove theracks first.The right hand fanned oven has a removableoven roof - slide the roof liner forward andremove.The side panels of either oven can be removed.Each side of the oven is fixed with four fixingscrews. You don’t have to remove the screwsto remove the oven linings. Lift each side panelupwards and they will slide off the screws. Thenpull them forwards.Once the linings are removed, the oven enamelinterior can be cleaned.When replacing the linings fit the side liningsfi rst.Make sure you fit the oven roof with the slot atthe front.TroubleshootingSteam is coming from the ovenWhen cooking foods with a high water content(e.g. oven fries) there may be some steam visibleat the rear grille. Take care when opening theoven door, as there may be a momentary puff ofsteam when the oven door is opened. Stand wellback and allow any steam to disperse.The oven fan is noisyThe note of the oven fan may change as the ovenheats up - this is perfectly normal.What cleaning materials are recommended forthe range?See the ‘Cleaning’ section for a full list ofrecommended cleaning materials. We do notrecommend corrosive or caustic cleaners asthese may damage your range.The knobs get hot when I use the oven or thebroiler, can I avoid this?Yes, this is caused by heat rising from the ovenor the broiler, and heating them up. Don’t leavethe oven door open. Make sure that the broilerpan is pushed right back to the ‘backstop’ whenbroiling.If there is an installation problem and I don’tget my original installer to come back to fix itwho pays?You do. Service organizations will charge for theircall outs if they are correcting work carried out byyour original installer. It’s in your interest to trackdown your original installer.Current Operated Ground Fault Circuit BreakerWhere the range installation is protected by a30 milliamp sensitivity residual current device(RCD), the combined use of your range andother domestic appliances may occasionallycause nuisance tripping.
