Scanning36 DocuMate 515 Scanner User’s GuideConfigure Before ScanChoosing Configure Before Scan simply opens a scanning interface whenyou press or click a scan button. You can then use the interface to changethe Resolution, Scan Mode, and other settings. When you scan, thescanned image will still be sent as the file type and to the sameDestination Application already selected in the One Touch Propertieswindow for that button.To set Configure Before Scan:1. Open the One Touch Properties window.2. Click the tab of the button that you want to set to configure beforescanning.3. Select the scan configuration Configure Before Scan.4. Right-click on Configure Before Scan and choose an interface touse for configuring before scanning.TWAIN—The TWAIN Interface opens for you to make changes priorto scanning. See “Scanning from the TWAIN Interface” on page 60.WIA—The Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) Interface opens for youto make changes prior to scanning. See “Scanning from the WindowsImage Acquisition Interface” on page 72.5. Select the Destination Application and File Format.6. Click OK or Apply on the One Touch Properties window.Select ConfigureBefore Scan.Right-click onConfigure BeforeScan to get themenu, andchoose theinterface to usefor scanning.Select abutton.
