Additionally, closing the lens barriercan help prevent fingerprints and dirt accumulation on thelens. Use the supplied lens cap when carrying the camcorderor storing it after use.* Note that the lens cap and the lens hood with lens barrier cannotbe used simultaneously.1 Remove the lens cap.2 Place the lens hood on the front of the lens so that thegroove on the lens hood is aligned with the bottom ofthe lens (), and then turn the lens hood clockwiseuntil it stops with a click ().• Be careful not to deform the lens hood.• Make sure that the lens hood is aligned with the thread.• To remove the lens hood, turn it counterclockwise.Using the ViewfinderIf it is difficult to use the OLED screen, you can use the viewfinder, which can be tilted 45 degreesupward.
