51Locks and car alarm• Locking the car with the remote controlrenders this switch inoperative.• If you are inside the car and lock the carwith the remote control, TSL will be acti-vated. This means that the switch on thedriver’s door will be rendered inoperativeand the car must be unlocked with theremote control. TSL will be deactivated ifyou insert the remote control into the igni-tion switch, returning the power supply tothe driver’s door switch. The doors cannothowever be opened from outside the car.If the car is left with one or more doors open,the interior lighting will be switched off auto-matically after 20 minutes. This is to preventthe battery from running flat.
