7 Utility Functions (Fn)7-47.3 JOG Operation (Fn002)JOG operation is used to check the operation of the servomotor under speed control without connecting theSERVOPACK to the host.(1) Settings before OperationThe following settings are required before performing JOG operation.• If the S-ON input signal is ON, turn OFF the signal.• If Pn50A.1 is set to 7 (i.e., the servo is always ON), change the value.• Considering the operating range of the machine, set the JOG operation speed in Pn304.∗ When using an SGMCS direct drive motor, the setting unit will be automatically changed to 0.1 min-1 .(2) Operating ProcedureFollow the steps below to set the JOG speed. The following example is given when the rotating direction ofservomotor is set as Pn000.0=0 (Forward rotation by forward reference).CAUTIONWhile the SERVOPACK is in JOG operation, the overtravel function will be disabled. Consider the operating rangeof the machine when performing JOG operation for the SERVOPACK.Pn304JOG Speed ClassificationSetting Range Setting Unit Factory Setting When Enabled0 to 10000 1 min -1* 500 Immediately SetupSpeed Position TorqueStep Display afterOperation Keys Operation1 Press the MODE/SET Key to select the utility functionmode.2 Press the UP or DOWN Key to select Fn002.3Press the DATA/SHIFT Key for approximately one second. The display shown on the left appears.Note: When "no-oP" blinks for approximately one second, the write prohibited setting is set in Fn010.
