Using the panel lock featureYou can lock the control panel to prevent yoursettings from being changed accidentally (bychildren, for example). When the Panel Lock is On,none of the controls on the TV control panel willoperate except POWER.To lock the control panel:1 Press s_p and highlight the Locks menu icon.2 Press V to display the PIN code entering screen.3 Enter your four-digit PIN code and press @.4 Press V to highlight Panel Lock.5 Press _ to select On. When the control panelis locked and any button on the control panel(except POW'F[q) is pressed, the message "NOTAVAILABLE" appears.To unlock the control panel:Select Off in step 5 above, or press and hold theVOL[JNF - button on the TV control panel for about10 seconds until the volmne icon appears.Usingthe PCsettings featureYou can view an image from a PC on the TV screen.When a PC is connected to the TV's PC IN terminal,you can use the PC Settings feature to makeadjustments to the image. If the edges of the picture arecut off, readjust the HorizontalPositionand VerticalP0sili0n. If the picture is affected by interference,readjust the CJock Phase and SamplingClock.To adjust the PC settings:1 Repeatedly press _ to select PC input mode (_:_"Selecting the video input source to view" page 30).Press s_)p and open the Setup menu.3 Highlight PCSettingsand press @.Note:/fa PC is not connected or there is nopc input signal this feature will be grayedout in the Setup menu.4 Press A or W to highlight the item you want to adjust.5 Press 4 or _ to make the appropriate adjustments.Note: The screen is disrupted momentarilywhen adjusting the PC settings. This is not asign of malfunction.Horizontal Moves the picture leftMght. The adjustmentPosition range is within _+10 from centel:*Vertical Moves the picture upMown. The adjustmentPosition range is within _+10 from centel:*Clock Helps to reduce noise and sharpen thepicture. The adjustment range is withinPhase _+16 from center.*Helps to reduce noise and minimizeSampling periodic vertical stripes on the screen.Clock The adjustment range is within _+10from center.*Reset Highlight this item then press @ to getan optimum adjustment automatically.* The default settings may vary depending onthe input signal format.Setting the PC AudioThis function allows you to output or mute the soundfrom your PC when connecting using the PC INterminal and an analog RGB cable. (_:_ page 20)To set the PC Audio:1 Press s_, and open the Sonnd menu.Highlight AUdiO Setup and press @.Press A or V" to select PCAudi0and then press"9 or _ to select N0 or Yes.Yes: When viewing the PC input, the audio fromthe PC Audio input can be heard.No: When viewing the PC input, there will be no audio.Note: Because the PC and HDMI- 7 inputsshare the same set of analog audio inputs,the PC Audio menu setting influences theHDMI 1 Audio menu setting. If PC Audiois set to "No" the HDM! 1 Audio settingchanges to "Auto" If PC Audio is set to "Yes"the HDM! 1 Audio setting is set to "Digital"and is grayed out in the menu.
