Because there is a possibilitythat unauthorised calls will be made via this feature, several safeguards have been added. Theuser must be informed of these to prevent unnecessary service calls. DISA can lock out when apredetermined number of invalid consecutive calls are attempted. Callers will then receive ringback tone until a programmable timer has expired. The [ key may be used to initiate new dialtone while in a station-to-station call. The # key may be used to terminate the DISA call and dis-connect the central office line. Multiple central office calls and internal calls are possible.Note: In order to use DISA, the caller must first dial a valid station number, followed by a four-digit pass-code. This passcode is defined in MMC 101, Change User Passcode.
