Logical Installation54 Installation Manual4.5 MCS Main Directory WindowThe Maintenance Console Software's main directory window provides access to the variousMCS menus for defining and displaying network Groups and Gateways (units).The function and appearance of the MCS main directory window resembles that of theWindows Explorer program interface.Title, Menu, and Tool BarsThe top line Title bar contains the programs name.The Menu bar is located immediately beneath the Title bar and contains the program menus;Unit, Edit, Tools, View, and Help.To view the contents of a menu, place the mouse cursor over the menu item and click the leftmouse button, then select the desired item from the menu.Repeat this procedure for menu items containing submenus.Below the Menu bar is the Toolbar. This bar contains shortcut buttons to many of the frequentlyused menu items.
