Logical InstallationInstallation Manual 1294.10 Transfer Setup and Configuration Files to UnitsOnce the MCS Edit Data folders have been used to setup and configure unit OFDD.VHO files,these files must be uploaded to the units. The Maintenance Console Software can be used toperform this task.To upload OFDD.VHO files to network units:1. Select the units for upload in the Units pane of the directory window.To select a contiguous group of units, select the first unit clicking its name. Then clickon the name of the last unit in the list while holding the shift key.To select non-contiguous group of units, hold the CTRL key and then click on the nameof each unit to be selected.• To perform the upload using the following Maintenance Console Software procedure,the unit setup parameters must have been previously uploaded to the unit using theUnit Information Setup Wizard's Upload Option. Also, the unit must be connected tothe LAN as described in Section 3.4.*1*1 Another method can be used to upload an OFDD.VHO file to a single unit; FTP/Telnet file transfer. See Appendix A7.• Gateway and Gatekeeper configuration files can not be combined in a single file transferoperation.
