Use Restore Defaults to return the SystemSetup fields to their original values and Card Info toview microSD card status. Software Version shows thesoftware version and unit identification number.Display SetupUse the Display Setup Page toselect a screen color schemefor day and night viewing. Youcan set the backlight timeoutand the level of brightness.Shortening the timeout andlowering the brightness cansignificantly save on batterypower.To access the Display Setup Page:On the Setup Menu Page, highlight theDisplay icon, and press ENTER.• Display Mode—sets the display to Day, Night,or Auto mode. Select Auto to automaticallyswitch from day to night at sunset and changeback at sunrise.• Daytime Color Scheme/Nighttime ColorScheme—sets the color scheme to use whenoperating in Day or Night mode.• Backlight Timeout—sets the backlight to stayon when it is turned on, or to time out after aselected period of time has elapsed when usingthe battery. The backlight stays on regardless ofthis setting when external power is used.• Backlight Level—turns the backlight up ordown.
