Map PageThe GPSMAP 60Cx comes with a built-in basemapthat includes a database of cities, interstates, stateand county highways, exit information, and lake andriver outlines. The standard basemap can be enhancedusing MapSource or BlueChart data.Two map operating modes, position mode and panmode, determine what cartography is shown on themap display.Position mode pans the map to keep your presentlocation in the display area. The position markershows your travel on the Map Page. When you pressthe ROCKER, the GPSMAP 60Cx enters pan mode,which moves the map to keep the white arrow (mappointer) within the display area. When you are inpanning mode, you can move the map pointer aboutthe page to highlight and identify map items. If thereis more than one map item under the pointer, a listappears with the items highlighted on the mapYou can add and configure up to four optional datafields to the top of the page to provide a variety oftravel and navigational information.To show data fields on the Map Page:1. Press MENU to open the Map Page OptionsMenu.2. Highlight Data Field, and press ENTER. TheShow sub-menu appears.3.
