Toselect an option, highlight it, and press ENTER.The following options are available:• Stop or Resume Navigation—turns activenavigation for a route or a Go To on or off.• Recalculate— recalculates the destination path.• Course or Bearing Pointer—toggles betweenthe course arrow and the bearing pointer.• Data Fields—allows you to select the numberof data fields that appear on the Compass Page.• Change Data Fields—allows you to select thetype of data you want to show in the data fields.See page 76 for descriptions for each option.• Restore Defaults—returns to the factorysettings.Using the Course Pointer or BearingPointerThe bearing pointer and course pointer workindependently of each other. The bearing pointerindicates the direction to your destination, and thecourse pointer indicates your relationship to a courseline leading to the destination. If the bearing pointer arrow is pointing straight up, forexample, you are going directly to your destination. If it points any direction other than up, turn towardthat direction until the arrow is pointing up and thencontinue in that direction. The bearing pointer alwayspoints to the destination, regardless of the directionyou are moving. This is most efficient if you mustmove around obstacles (for example, lakes or privateproperty) in your path.Compass PageOptions MenuCompass PageOptions MenuGPSMAP 60Cx Owner’s Manual MAIn PAges > coMPAss PAge
