Adjust the angle of theLCD panel or viewfinder for comfortable recording.Before You Begin RecordingMake a test recording first to check if the camcorder operates correctly. Set the camcorder to CAMERA mode.If you have not set the time zone, date andtime, “SET THE TIME ZONE, DATE AND TIME”appears. See Setting the Time Zone, Date andTime ( 23).3. Open the LCD panel ( 30).To use the viewfinder, keep the LCD panelclosed or rotate it so that the screen faces inthe same direction of the lens ( 31).4. Press the start/stop button to beginrecording.Wait until the tape counter came to acomplete stop before you begin recording.5.
