5-75Printing Environment Settings5SETUP Menu SettingsLIMIT.FUNCTIONS■ STAPLEDO NOT LIMIT*, LIMITIf you are using LBP5975, and if a paper jam or staple jam occurs each timeprinted paper is stapled, specify LIMIT for this item and contact your localauthorized Canon dealer for servicing.If LIMIT is specified for this item, the normal printing process (stapling is notperformed) is applied to even a job which is specified to be stapled.IMPORTANT• Do not remove the staple cartridge even if LIMIT is specified for this item. If youprint with the staple cartridge removed, this may result in paper jams.• After changing the settings for this item, cycle the power of the printer to make thesettings effective.• Paper at a size of A4 or A3 cannot be used if it is coated paper that weighsbetween 62.6 and 81.4 lb Cover (170 and 220 g/m2 ).NOTEThis item is displayed only for LBP5975.PCL SETUP OptionsPAPER SAVEOFF*, ONSpecifies whether the printer outputs the blank page that can be created due tono data existing between two Form Feed codes sent from an application.If ON is specified, the printer does not output the blank page. If OFF is specified,the printer outputs the blank page.If you use this function, you can save paper because the blank pages are notoutput.ORIENTATIONPORTRAIT*, LANDSCAPEEnables you to set the paper orientation.
