The ports for the mono, stereoor 5.1 surround external tone inputsfor use with the oscillator can also bepatched here.(1) Source ListsTalkback and tone input ports can beany kind of port, selected from the list onthe left of the screen. Different lists areaccessed using the selection buttons.The sources can be viewed as pairs (forpatching to stereo or surround paths),individual (for patching to mono paths),or individual with the actual rack number,card slot and input shown (for diagnosticpurposes).132(2) PatchingThe Talkback and tone inputs are listed inthe main section of the screen. Assignmentis made by selecting a source and an input,and selecting Patch.(3) ParametersThe parameter buttons provide controlsfor analog gain control (coarse), PhantomPower (mic/line) and SRC switching forthe input (AES). When selecting analoggain, a box will appear where the gain canbe selected. Selecting Mic i/p PH will turnphantom power on for mic/line inputs. DigI/P SRC will switch SRC on for AES inputs.
