Donot leave the remote control in this posi-tion when the engine is not running.When you turn the remote control to thisposition, some indicator and warning lightswill come on in the main instrument panel.These should go out after about 3 seconds.Cars with diesel engine: The heater plugfunction is activated if coolant temperatureis below +5 °C. Start the engine oncethe indicator light has extinguished.Position 4The starter motor cranks (automatic trans-mission: selector lever must be in P or N)when the key is turned to this position.When released, the key will spring back toposition 3.The car has an electronic restart lock.
