See “Interface Control” earlier in this chapterabout configuring the spooler on the printer’s port.Start-up PageThe Start-up Page feature prints a page listing the selected resolution,installed RAM, hard disk identities, page count, enabled interfaces, andnetwork information (if the Ethernet upgrade is installed) each time theprinter is turned on.Set Start-up Page from the MISC:STRTUP PAGE configurationmenu, from XANTÉ Command Center on a Macintosh, or bydownloading Adobe PostScript files to the printer.In the MISC:STRTUP Page menu, Yes (the factory default) enablesthe feature and No disables it. In XANTÉ’s Macintosh CommandCenter, the General: Startup Page menu allows you to turn theStart-up Page feature on or off or to print this page on demand.XANTÉ Utilities CD-ROM contains the PostScript files Startpg.onand Startpg.off. Download these files to the printer to enable(Startpg.on) or disable (Startpg.off) the feature. See “DownloadsFolder” in chapter 3 (Macintosh) and “PS_Files Folder” in chapter 4(PC) for instructions.To print a start-up page manually, take the printer off line and pressthe Test key. After the page prints, press the Online key to put theprinter back on line.
