This must be done for singleline telephones because they cannot access programming. Three alarms may beset for each station and each alarm may be defined as a one-time or TODAY alarmor as a DAILY alarm, as described below. The TODAY alarm is automaticallycancelled after it rings, while the DAILY alarm rings every day at the same time. It isalso possible to set a message to display when the alarm is sounded.ENTRY ALARM TYPEDIAL 0 NOTSETDIAL 1 TODAYDIAL 2 DAILYMessages are written using the keypad. Each press of a key will select a character.Pressing the dial pad key will move the cursor to the next position. For example, ifthe directory names is “SAM SMITH” press the number “7” three times to get theletter “S”. Now press the number “2” once to get the letter “A”. Continue selectingcharacters from the table below to complete message.
