-35-3. Panning starting point and panning endpointFollow the steps below.(1) Move the cursor to POSITION and press theCAM (SET) key. The cursor moves to START.(2) Move the joystick to the right or left to select apanning starting point and press the CAM(SET) key.This determines the starting point and the cur-sor moves to END.(3) Move the joystick to the right or left to select apanning endpoint and press the CAM (SET)key.This determines the endpoint, and the cursormoves to POSITION.4. Panning speedThe panning speed increases when the joystick ismoved to the right, and decreases when it ismoved to the left.Notes:• If the panning range is changed after the camerahas not panned for a long time or has been pan-ning in the same panning range, the picture maynot be clear or noise may appear. In this case, panthe camera fully several times.If this does not eliminate the problem, refer servic-ing to qualified service personnel.• When you press the CAM (SET) key, the cameramight move slightly to memorize the nearest pan-ning/tilting position.5. Pan limit ON/OFFThe factory default setting is OFF.ON: Manual pan is limited from the starting point tothe endpoint specified by position setting. SetENDLESS to OFF before setting PAN LIMIT toON.OFF: Manual pan is not limited.Note: When ON is selected for PAN LIMIT, manualpan moves the camera away from the otherside (PAN LIMIT) of the start-end range.6. ENDLESS to ON/OFFThe factory default setting is OFF.ON: The camera pans from the starting point to theendpoint, and keeps rotating in the samedirection to return to the starting point. SetPAN LIMIT to OFF before setting ENDLESS toON.OFF: The camera pans from the starting point tothe endpoint, and rotates backward to thestarting point.This movement is repeated over and over.7.
