Often thenew control unit has a newer version than the existing control units.Normally the latest version is the best to use, i.e. the control units inthe "running" installation have to be upgraded.72 As an alternative, itis possible to download an earlier S/W version in the new control unit.Both alternatives are described in chapter "New system program(S/W) version download", page 84. 73Open the current project in TLON Manager, add one control unit andinstall (download) it according to the separate TLON networkdocumentation.Open the SSD for the current system via Win512. Add one controlunit (and the units connected to it) and download the new SSDaccording to chapter "Programming (SSD download)", page 81.18.4 Make two TLON networks one.It is very important that two or more presentation numbers (Zone-Address) in the systems are not the same. The system properties haveto be the same.Use one of the systems and add to it the control units etc. from theother system.74If it is known from the beginning that two systems shall be one in thefuture, it is possible to give the control units in the systemrespectively, the "final" control unit numbers right from the beginningin order to get the correct technical numbers in the system documents.NOTE! Two or more presentation numbers (Zone-Address) in thesystems must not be the same.18.5 Delete a Control Unit in a TLON networkPhysically disconnect the control unit, which will generate faults inthe other control units. Acknowledge the faults.72 If the added unit is an EBL512 G3 control unit it has to have the softwareEBL512 G3 United version 2.7.x and all EBL512 control units in thenetwork have to have the software EBL512 version 2.7.x.73 If you after S/W download get "FAULT: Configurationcontrol unit xx", read the EBL512 settings (menu Tools | EBL512settings) and download them again. They will then be downloaded with thesame Win512 version as the S/W and the fault will normally be corrected.74 It is not possible to merge two TLON Networks into one or copy onesystem and paste into another system.
