Panasonic Eco Solutions Nordic ABMEW01457 Rev: - Operating Instructions Fire alarm system EBL512, V2.7.x3914.3 Presentation numberFor each fire alarm point / input / zone, a presentation number,NNN-NN, has to be programmed. The presentation number is shownin the c.i.e. and ext. FBP display(s)41, to identify the point / zonegenerating fire alarm. It is also used to disable / re-enable fire alarmpoints / zones and as trigger conditions in control expressions toactivate the programmable outputs.Together with the presentation number, a user definable 40 characterstext message (alarm text) can be displayed (if programmed).NOTE 1! Zone numbers 001-999 can be used but more than 512alarm points or zones per c.i.e. is a violation to the EN54-2 standard.NOTE 2! When the function "Redundancy in distributed system" isused, it is presented as 999-xx. The zone number 999 is indicatingthat it is an alarm from a Control Unit and the address xx is indicatingfrom which CU (xx). xx could be an individual CU (xx=00-29) orseveral CU:s (xx=99).41 Also in the Alert Annunciation Units and Presentation Units ("DisplayUnits").The presentation number (or a user definable 40 characters text message) canalso be shown in the old type of display units connected to the COM loops.01 – 99 = The address within the zone.00 = Only the zone number will bedisplayed, e.g. used for conventional zoneline inputs.
